FRAGMENT POEM to ANGELICA

by Joseph Higares CANCER - Not entered

When some angel or
        fantasy falls to earth.
whom your heart runs toward before
any other body part.
       what you learn
is the nature of this world,
spale but vivid when around her.

      how long you seem'd
to wait for her,
but in truth you could have waited
longer, because you don't deserve,
       for vices clutch at you.

    now you know
meter when once all you knew was the unbalanced
scream.
now you experience song, before all you did
was listen to it.

     i call her
     love,
she has her own name, but she is love
     to me.

Reason for writing:

For my girlfriend. I gave it to her for our year annaversary.
