An Outcry

by Roland Hoensch (Cancer) - Not entered

Born to kill and born to die,
My hopes and dreams died with a sigh.
Pain and torture come to me,
Take my mind off sweet serenity.

Peace is gone and war enrages,
I scream unheard from empty cages.
I long so much Your eyes to see...
I cry all night, afraid You don't love me!

Reason for writing:

My Lover who was my best friend, my mistress, and truly
everything to me for the last three months . . . whom I
wanted to marry left me for a man inferior to me in every
possible way. She is now with him despite that he has
betrayed and cheated on her countless times before. Despite
that he hurt, abused, and threatened her before . . . she
has now betrayed me, abandoned me, and then disgraced me *for
him*.
