My Only Love

by Roland Hoensch (Cancer) - Not entered

She is me, and I am her.
Without her, there is no me.
Without me, she would not be
The way she is, for 'tis only me
That sees her as she was meant to be:
Seen fair and true.
Yet noone, not even You,
See her as I do!
She is my angelic saviour, and my only love;
Now, and forever!

Reason for writing:

    I wrote this poem to a girl I was extremely infatuated
with and whom I continue to think of ever-so dearly despite
the fact that I no longer yearn for her love.
