If Love Were So...

by Roland Hoensch (Cancer) - Not entered

If love were a river,
The spring, feeding it, would be you.

If love were a flower,
You, the sun, would nourish it anew.

If love were a place,
You'd make it an angelic view.

But as love is an emotion;
My love for you, is forever true.

Reason for writing:

    Written to the greatest love of my life who later left me.
