My World

by Jenn Moore **Taurus** - Not entered

I see the world but not like you,
This world for me has nothing new,
To fill my lost and lonely heart,
To mend the things torn apart.

I see a world where nothing lies,
A neverending land of cries,
With nothing but the longtime dead,
And memories lost in my head.

I see no sign of hope or glory,
Only the pain of this one story,
Where only death and darkness reign,
The only metaphor for my pain.

In the end its all the same,
There is no one else to blame,
So in my hands I hold this knife,
To take from me my own sad life.

Reason for writing:

My teacher was talking about osmosis and it wasn't the most exciting thing in the world so i drifted off into my own world and wrote a poem.....
