The sun had begun to set Throwing and splashing colours on the sea Changing from a golden to auburn And i like an onlooker wondered At the transformation ,the metamorphises of the earth That appeared a wonder to me The vertical and the horizontal rays Seemed to fall on the sandy beaches That appreared to blush like bright peaches The beauty was enough to trigger a poet's immagination Making him to put his thoughts to words That were meditative and deep The earth seemd under a spell that was beautiful to me And every thing seemed to invoke awe and wonder in me Putting my mind to sleep that was intense and deep Invoking in me thoughts that made me shiver and freeze I could imagine my self with my dear ones that were far from me Away in their own world that was unreachable to me And now they appeared to be nearer to me The sun had set awakening me from slumber That was meditative and deep Putting me into reality where there was no one but me Giving me nothing except, darkness that was meant for me And i just desired to drown myself into sleep once more That was an unknown world of reverie a beautiful paradise to me
Reason for writing:
Well here is the depiction of The Sunset. The way i have imagined it to be.The influence of the sunset on other things, that include every living and nonliving being. I have described my feelings how i felt when the sun had started to set. A mixture of reality and immagined . That took me to a world of reviere where i immagined being with the people i loved. well all i can say is that i was influenced by the transformation that takes place when the sunsets.I hope that you like it also. thanx®ards Najia Safdar Please inform me if the poem is selected. i shall be gratefulBirth sign: Not entered
