EVERYDAY

by Pat Brady cancer - Not entered

                             EVERY DAY

When you are ready see the light the sun will surely rise.
When you are ready hear the truth you will stop telling lies.
When you are ready feel your heart you will be a little more wise.
When you are ready to taste life’s sweetness you will stop having bitter good-byes.
When you are ready to stop and smell the flowers
the time lost is what you will realize.
If I knew then what I know now.
I would really know what?
I would surely know how?
I would be on the right track;
I would know the right way.
Down a path to be a little kinder each and every day.
