Wishing You Were Here

by Matt Houston - Not entered

Wishing you were here
Seems to be the common theme
Exploding with happiness
Telling all about my dream

Knowing we'll be together
Keeps me going day by day
With Sleepless nights and anxiety
This is the price I want to pay

It is true I've tempted fate again
But this time I 've even the score
With true love on my side
Unlike what I have felt before

These words sound a bit sad
But no need to worry about me
For once no dead end streets
I know this love is meant to be

Love has a new meaning
Now that you are here
Just spending my time
Wishing you were here

Reason for writing:

Finding the right person to fill that void in my heart but living 600 hundred miles apart. Knowing this love is meant to be and waiting for the day when we live together.
