Good-bye

by Kristy *LEO* - Not entered

Chills tickle my spine
I get a sudden rush,
My lips frozen by shock
As you yell, scream, and cuss.

  I love you to pieces
  You're so sweet my dear
  But what will happen
  If I stay here?

    I cried yesterday
Whiile you were out having fun
    So I packed my shit
    And decided to run.

  I had to go
  I won't tell you where I'll be
But when you become a man
  You can call me.

You know my number
it's 365-4624
That's all I have to say
Good-bye and nothing more.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this one of the millions of my pieces of poetry because I was once with a very abusive boyfriend and I left this poem on my pillow the day I left. Now I'm with a caring and loving man.
