Heartbreaking Trek

by Hope Taurus - Not entered

Heartbreaking Trek

Is this to be a turn about
Or off the merry go round
When we meet a dead end
We have to turn around

Often some well made plans
We have to put to rest
I did everything I could
I really tried my best

I may try this path later
I was tantalizingly near
Though images kept on fading
Voices were no longer clear

The path I shall depart
I was stuck in a groove
My heart started to ache
Yet my feet would’nt move

The plan I now put on hold
Try my best to fix the pain
You were a tantalizing image
But an image with a name

Heartbreaking trek back
But I guess you don’t know
I was tempted and I tasted
So I say “thanks for the show”
