A MOTHERS PLEA

by DEANNA FOWLER (PISCES) - Not entered

How low can you go?
Can there exist so deep a bottom below?
To tear from my arms
This gift with so much charm
A little Angel sent down from above
Whose heart is filled with only Love
Why after all these years
do you say neglect is what you fear?
To seperate me from my child
Has been your goal all this while
You should have just cut out my heart!!!!
Have you not seen the love we share?
Of course not your heart only knows despair
From one mother to another
  I need not to explain
That the loss of a child
    Leaves onlly emptiness and pain
Have you as a mother
  Forgot what it's like
    To sit and just hold
Your child so tight Knowing their love is genuine and true
Wait I forgot I was talking to you
You are the one who drove all her children away
  That is your bill
  Why must I pay?

Reason for writing:

My child's grandmother was trying to take her from me to make up for her mistakes with her own kids
