Fear

by Linds - Pisces

The fear tastes so sweet in my mouth
It dances a jig on my tongue
Uttered by distaste I make a funny expression
And it seems like it's taken control
Of me
Of my body
Just a drop of it and I'm on my knees
My plans thrown out the window
Everyone stares at me like I'm going out of control
If they only knew how bitter and distatsteful this drop was
I should've kept going towards my dreams
But instead I chose to taste fear
Big mistake
Because now I'm on my knees because
One little drop was distasteful
