Entangled

by Annika - Scorpio

I listened to so many sad love songs tonight, the lyrics I attempted to ignore.
It made me look into the warm, star-filled night and that one star-I don't know why I've never noticed it before,
Maybe it is spiecial to me because you pointed it out whne we were under that blavket during that dowmpour.
Do you remember?
The raindrops were as clear as crystal and cold like diamonds as they fell on my face
It left a feeling time couldn't erase
The wind softly rustling the freshly mowed grass,
We never even noticed all the time had had passed.
How the full moon had reflected off the lake,
Beside it entangled we lay awake.
It was like a thousand wildflowers were surrounding us, covering the land,
Saying I love you and taking each other's hand.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this on Oct. 30. I'm not really sure why I was in a romantic mood. My boyfriend (now ex) and I wre having problems then, so maybe it was how I wish it had been. Anyway, looking for comments. e-mail me at sweetdaisy2@yahoo.com. Thanks. :)
