Transparent Purple Sea

by Zach Ayers, Aries - Not entered

If I had dreams, you would hold my hand
Take me to a transparent purple sea
Warm our pain in the desperate heat of the surf
Smile into your eyes and let it drip into your heart
Swallow your breath and inhale your stare
Speech would strand us
Enslaved in the fates
Combating the words that neither of us would say

Reason for writing:

    A wish for more time
