A sincere friend is a friend in deed, One you can count on in times of need. A friend who will listen And still hang around, especially when All the bad things have come out. They never turn away from you, Instead they pull you through. Have you ever given it a thought, Just how much time was sought? For them to find someone like you? A friend who will give advice On all those bothers that are part of life. Someone to have secrets with And keep only between is A treasure for only two to share. Without a friend, one is alone And God's greatest gift is unknown. Have you ever really wondered Why to them it would matter, If tomorrow was never here? Sometimes it's hard for them to show, But they do care, you know. A friend knows you from within And will show it time and again, When you feel nobody understands. To them life is one big challenge, Forcing you to live the best until the end. Have you ever tried to define The meaning of someone in your life Who's exactly what a friend should be? Someone that is in your life everyday And probably too has tried to do the same. A lifetime friend needs no definitions, Reminding words or reasons To show that you are their friend in deed.
