I felt an inkling tingle ...Like a thought born of insanity My feelings sink like disease ...Collide with a displaced seed Seed within me of thoughts imagined ...Hoped unrealized Helpless and falling My instincts calling For life and fate to collide This caustic tear has wiped a stain ...On my face for hands of time to claim And I'm lain On an open bed My heart ripped out On wet sheets of red This unfounded fear has left me here ...Deserted With anguished rage ...For a caustic tear Everyone says they give to me ...But, what they take is much more to see For, aside the rage In this rusted cage ...My buttered feelings have melted, Marked on this empty page... Littered with a spilling beer The misery I've brought to here ...And fallen out in torrents Are my caustic tears E.A.Altamura, Copyright 1998
Reason for writing:
Written from abstract feelings of lonliness, this poem was mentally dictated to me before I even realized what I really meant by writing it...it's one of those poems you have to read a few times to fully absorb the subconscious images.Birth sign: Not entered
