Insanity (Crematorium)

by Lizzard/Aries-Cancer-Pisces - Not entered

Insanity would be a crime
Only if the rest of the world was sane.
Cremate my feelings in a crock pot
Make my life a mockery.
Retain your memory
To keep me the same.
If you've doomed me to lay on a funeral pyre
Why not set me on fire?
I'll know who to blame.

Whisper an instance
Where you have heeded my insistence.
Even as your burning words
Left my room incensed.
Please, extinguish your flame.

Caged in from above
Encompassed, my love,
My martyr of this world enflamed.
I'll be forever thine
If you be forever mine...
Keeper of my memory,
...If you deign.

In this box, enclosed
Remains a withered rose,
All bruised from tortuous lies.
If it be fed well
Others could never tell
The pain it contained inside.

What if the butterfly didn't flutter?
The child could no longer mistake it
For a flutterby.

So, my dear
I believe it's clear
Insanity has replaced my pride.
After now, you've been rejected
Punctured by my dart, infected
With one more question left to hide...

When I stabbed you through the heart,
Why was it so hard to stop
Yet, easy to start?
