Do  Not Say Goodbye

Please can you prove me wrong
When ever I get in despair
Only you can end my doubts
Let me know that you still care

Those many times we are apart
Can you explain to me more clear
It as been  quite a while now
Yet you know that I’m still here

Were you just passing through
Did you try to decieve my eye
From all that was said and done
I never heard the word goodbye

Nothing here was ever closed
My despairing heart goes on
I know you never said farewell
Yet I wonder where you’ve gone

I hope you soon do respond
But please don’t say goodbye
Because I will be left so open
But a part of me would die
Hope
