I never got the chance to be your friend, only to meet you, and that was where it had to end. For me to write you would cause you pain. I won't hurt you, but I will remember your name. We both have a common bond -- poetry that we can use whenever it's each other that we need. There were answers you never got from me because our time was short, so I'll tell you afterall. I am a female just like you, Who writes her poetry from the heart about special people too. Most of it is all experience and that's one thing I will admit. My poem 'Regret' had to do with a bad circumstance. I will not say the word, just listen to what it says and you can figure out that it was a wrong decision that I truthfully regret today. I don't know you very well, but I am sure your a special person. One who writes from the heart, It's not hard to tell. I wish we'd got the chance to become friends, not just a hello followed with a goodbye. You know where to find me if you finally get the chance. But until the day we can meet again, I will remember you. If you need -- send a poem on cyberpages to this your friend. I will keep my eye open for you on here everyday looking for poems I can read that are from you. Copyright December 29, 1998 by Bobbie J. Brown
Reason for writing:
This is a really quick poem that goes out to someone I met recently. I just wanted to let her know even though we can't be friends -- she's always welcome if she ever gets the chance. I don't want to say her name in hopes she wont get in trouble, but I think if she reads this she will surely know.Birth sign: Scorpio
