If I could be
What he wanted me to be
I would be perfect
And he would want me.

If I could be
What he wanted to see
I would be beautiful
And he would love me.

If I could be
Someone else but me
I'd be different
And he would be happy.

But I'm me
Not who he wants me to be
And if he's not satisfied
We weren't meant to be!
