The Burden Of Progress

by Megan Aries - Not entered

Has today been as miserable for you
as it has been for me? My head is a
jumble of Nyquil, bills, ex-loves,
new ones, visitors and aliens. To
be honest I don't know what to do
wlth these thoughts. Tired eyes see
what they choose to. Truths pour
from my mouth, nonstopping. I hate
Xena Warrior Princess. I love McDonalds
Cajun Chicken Biscuts. All these
thoughts are coming like a frieght
train. Should I call my Psychic
Friend? Would she know me better than
I know myself? Tonight I pray that I
will dream of 1st grade...where I was
free.
