Did you ever love a guy but knew he didn't care? Did you ever feel like crying and think you'd get nowhere? Did you ever look into his eyes and say a little prayer? Did you ever look into his heart, and wish that you were there? Did you ever see him coming when the lights were down real low? Did you ever whisper God I love him but I'll never let him know. Did you ever wonder where he is at night and wonder if he's true? The day you find out he isn't is the day you'll find you're blue. And what it starts you don't know, and wonder day and night why? You see my friend you're losing him No matter how hard you try. Love is fine but hurts so much the price is very high. If I could choose between life and death i think I would rather die. Don't fall in love my friend because, you'll find it doesn't pay. It always causes heartbreak, it happens everyday. And so I say don't fall in love you'll be hurt before you're through you see my friend I ought to know... I fell in love with you. ----------------------------- I don't know who wrote this, but I love this poem, it's so sweet, and it got me through some tough times.
