1st Mothers Day

by slm - Libra

My mom is someone who loves me
no matter what I do
She keeps me clean and washes my clothes
and makes them look like new
She wipes my nose and dries my tears
to make the pain go far away
She holds me close to keep me warm
as night turns into day
Her work it seems is never done
as she watches over me
For I am into everything
yet she always loves on me
My mom is such a lucky mom
to have a son like me
For when shes looks into the mirror
I am what she sees
Thank you mom for all your love
is what I would like to say
But I'm too young to share these thoughts
on your very first Mother's Day
