Search No More

by slm - Libra

I've never seen so many, searching for so much
Their tears turn into rain with each and every touch
Searching thru the personals to see what can be found
Sorrow, pain and heartache seems to be the loudest sound

Why is it Lord we search for peace in exactly the wrong place
Reading thru the lines I see so many a lonely face
Searching for some answers to the pain in which they live
Over looking the freedom which You so freely give

So many lonely hearts, searching for a home
Over looking the greatest gift that any one has known
Drugs and sex are all around as far as I can tell
Yet life can turn around my friend by drinking from the well

I know a man to fill that void that now consumes your heart
He will forgive you all you've done and give you a new start
Turn those tears of pain my friend into a life of peace
Come to Him with open arms and your pain will simply cease
