It seems my friend your troubles
consume your heart and mind
Your searching for the answers
but more questions what you find
You can't solve this worlds problems
let alone your own
You'll pay the price of living
all the seeds you've sown
Relationships turn sour
and hang you out to dry
So tender hearted and caring
so many tears to cry
Trying to get over life
and how it gets you down
The challenge is to smile
and change that nasty frown
There are lessons to be learned my friend
just like rings inside a tree
Open minds and open hearts
will let you truly see
So open up and smile my friend
make this world a happy place
I used to be just like you
with such a lonely face
