Time Is On Our Side 14 Jan. 1999 Time is on our side Is what her lips say Trust me, hold me again, but wait he can never know Time is on our side we are young and kept yet free so don't give up hope but please step back from me Time is on our side she mutters as we hide from eyes watching, making sure we stay moral and true Time is on our side then why do I feel this overpowering, overwhelming, all encompassing spaciousness emptiness crushing dreams of love? Time is on our side as hairs gray and wrinkles pervade my youthful face So solemn comes the autumn of life still waiting, ever anticipating that soft voice Time is on our side I've heard it once said darling, dear, oh my love what have we done? Our time has silently passed.
