Cancer of My Mind

by ray phillips - Not entered

Cancer of My Mind
December 1997

I've traveled around the world
and gone home
but not really home
I've been among many peoples
yet stood apart from them all
Solitary in numbers
A needle in the haystack
of life
But do not try to find me
So much potential
eaten by the cancer of my mind
I am a master of disguise
so don't think you know me
because you see my face.
Don't try to touch me, or move me
I've been paralyzed for some time.
