This Time

by JANE - Not entered

He'll come home again
with the same accusations
She'll deny them again
see the fear in her eyes?
He'll hit her over and over
and scream out in anger
She'll smell the alcahol on his breath
and cower in a corner
He'll hit her till he collapses
unconsious from the booze
But somethings different
this time she stays down too
She doesn't stand to cover her wounds
and she doesn't move to wash the walls
Or clean her blood from the carpet
this time he went too far
This time the cuts went too deep
and no apology will bring her back - This Time
