Napkin Poem

by hayley*virgo - Aquarius

The only man I cared about
drowned on Friday,
face down in some Corona.
And I remember having Megan
secure in my pocket,
but she fell out
last week on Ventura Blvd.
Then there is Tori,
smirking at me from the
wall and saying
I told you Nicki was a cornflake girl.
Yeah, Tori and Ani had a big laugh about that one.

And Mike is somber and silent and
actually, no where to be found.
He must be hanging out with Jessica,
who forgot to call.

I once was fine, but now I see.

Reason for writing:

I haven't written in a while...I have been having major
writers block...which should not be an issue in poetry.
But anyways, this is just bits and pieces of thoughts.
