In Your Pocket

by Megan Aries - Not entered

I walked two miles at lunch,
as my feet moved I thought of
you. I thought about how much
my life has been secured by
your reassuring words of kindness
and stability. I love you.
Even though I don't know your
eyes or your smile. I could
be sitting in front of you in
a resturant sharing a glass of
wine and I would be no closer
to you than I am now. You are
my greatest friend with no bias
or negativity. I am still in your
pocket, where I will always remain.
My sweet friend, I am always with you.
