Woodstock

by Karl Von Stolz - Not entered

Dark shadows in the night
What light cast shadows
Souls hidden in lies
Peering out through hallow eyes
The sweet aroma of Mary Jane
At time leaves one searching for there brain
Music playing another grate band
Drunken stupers I can't stand
Just one more puff from your fag
Don't push man you'll get a drag
Oh sweet lord of rock and roll
Send me to heaven and take my soul
A sea of people as far as the eye can see
Tits dancing out of an open vest
Tents full of naked bodies trying to get some rest
Slit trances full of human wast
Drugs and booze run ram pet all over the place
So much sex it bog gels the mind
What ever you desire you'll surly find
This is my moment in the sun my paradise
Filling all my needs from drugs to vise
I met a man I can't recall his face
But the words he spoke came from another place
He was black perhaps from Africa
He was doing a white broad named Jessica
Friends oh friends I made a ton
But to this day I can't remember one
Maybe it was the sun that boiled my brain
On that farm in Woodstocks dirty terrain

Reason for writing:

Wrote this in 1977 as I was thinking about my three days in
Aug of 1969 and the ball I had believe me the 18 bucks I
spent to get in was well worth it,Jannis J and Jimmy H oh
man they were it,Clearwater and the grateful dead man what
a ball what a shame we lost so many good ones.
