he's in her thoughts

by faith - Not entered

societies standards
has her feeling like a monster
a wrong

the wrongs he has done her
the time that has passed
the pain he has caused
the nerve

yet it rings, he calls
disgust, eats inward
depth,deeply
at a weakness she has not yet overcome

a jacket, a bike, a smile
an excuse

excused by everyone

she asks herself, what is it that he is really seraching for
another girls voice speaks with his
in the bcakround
of 35 cents
a thought in her mind
a busy road

haunting, like a ghost
trying to move onward
he always seems to call her back

to a thought, in her mind

contact kept,
to keep a thought in her head
tourchorous, a scar on her heart

wrong is she
answering the call

wrong is he
for pressing
remembering
the numbers

wrong are they
for pretending

addicted
