Does anyone appretiate the simple life anymore? You know: smiles, and laughter, family, and friends, good music, and even better food, that you enjoyed, sitting at the picnic table, in the backyard, on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I guess the world is just too busy now! In a world filled with beepers, and cell phones, and fax machines, and laptops, and e-mail, and confrence calls. Instead of spending our days off with the kids at the beach, we spend it at the salon buying tan in a can, and getting our nails sculpted, or getting our hair glued, or woven into place. Just so we look good for the convertable ride home. With our cell phones in hand, donning our Ray-Ban sunglasses. Call me naive, but do we look forward to anything more than a paycheck, and a nice house today? Are these really the things that fullfill our souls, and put true smiles on our faces? I think I would rather live in a world where the motto is: give OF yourself, not give TO yourself!
