Your Time To Be Alone

Did you never think you would end up here,
never feel what I did when you left me for her?
Now I can sit back and watch your growing fear
as she too leaves you alone for someone better.
Did you never think you would be tossed aside,
but always the one to walk away so easily?
It seems the tables have turned, you need to hide
as I did when my tears for you fell so freely.
Did you never think you would be all alone,
left without her, me, or anyone else around?
You have been blind to what I have always known,
your time would one day come and here it is now.
