Dreams

by Priscilla Zeng - Not entered

Like a fairytale from a fairyland,
I had this dream since I was ten.

Going away with the man I love,
Living in a cottage surrounded by flowers.

We stood on the fine white sand,
And looked at the vast blue sea.

The big ball of orange fire descended slowly,
Out came the moon with stars to make the nite lively.

Sitting on the swing side by side,
Kissing under the stars as our hearts unite.

Our fingers intertwined as we lay down to sleep,
The nite faded away as the sun came out to greet.

The tranquility of the island awes me,
I felt like an angel,I felt so free.

But it is juz a dream,
I cant fulfill it coz I havent found him.

However,dreams may come true.
You'll know when it's due.
