Big Bang

by Christopher Wingo, aquarius - Not entered

Fly apart
from the seams.
It's the beginning of time.
Do you know what that means?

It's the end of a line.
It's a bend in the strings.
It was a favorite of mine;
now it's just one of those things.

And away! (now we're off)
But from where?
Hey, I'm over here,
and you're over there.
Once was one,
now are everywhere.

It's cosmechanical.
Baby, it's a birth.
It wasn't all that big
for whatever that's worth.
Too big for your little mind?
It's just a matter of time.

Uh-oh!
There you go!
Big bang.

Reason for writing:

    just finished a physics class?
