Pretty Little Girls

Pretty Little Girls
Pretty Little Girl
Open your eyes to the world

Pretty litle girl,
do you see what I see?
The hope, joy, and beauty
inside of you and me?

Pretty little girl
tell me what you see in the mirror.
Uglyness, evil, and all of the terror?

Probably, that is what you see
But what else can we expect from them?
Ugly, fat, rude is what we hear from men

We need to teach our girls
need to reach our girls
Cause before you know it
Our pretty girls believe it
and they will show it

Thinking they are not good enough
Filling their heads with all that stuff

When will they learn?
Soon, it will be there turn
To teach the pretty little girls of the next generation
To teach that there is more than despiration

Tell the pretty little girls -
they are what they are -
        PRETTY LITTLE GIRLS!!

Reason for writing:

My friend thought she was worthless because of a man. And it is because of the way her mom gets treated. We need to break this horrible cycle. Email me with what you think.
