surrounded in a world of color i see only black and white there are flowers and trees in all sorts of colors but i just see shades of grey i know somehow, that i am surrounded in beauty but its just not what it should be in my eyes i don't see what i should see the bursts of pink and yellow should penetrate this grey that i see the green should be bright and plentiful i'm moving like the snail on the planter- slowly spiraling down the beautiful music strains in the background but all i hear is sadness people all around are laughing and it makes me jealous how dare they be so happy when i'm so down? how come they see the beauty, the palette of color that surrounds them, when all i see is another shade of grey?
