Forgotten

by Allie-libra - Not entered

A mystery
Appearing and vanishing
An endless game with no rules
I know your enjoying it.

Or maybe it's a test
Will you be forgotten...
If you vanish for a long time...
You think maybe...
But it's not true.

And the roles change
But your still holding my soul in your hands.

were the same half
And still so different
You're talking about her
And i'm talking about you.

There's an enveloppe each day on the side of my bed
Empty...
White paper...
The signs are there
But the words are lost
You only left silence.

Weeks pass
And the game grows bigger
Appearing and vanishing
What are the rules...
Mysterious...
Especially for the forgotten.

Reason for writing:

This poem has been inspired by a friend who related me this story. She was so affraid to be forgotten that she vanished for a few weeks to see if someone will notice. After coming back, she realised that she left everybody...
Forgotten, That's what we were...
