ARE YOU THERE

ARE YOU THERE WHEN
by Richard Maxfield

Are you there when she needs her talk,
Are you there for her to give you a call
Are you there when she feels small
Are you there to make her feel tall
Are you there when wakes with fright
Are you there to hold her tight
Are you there to tell her good night
Are you there to give her a kiss
when its you that she really does miss
Are you there to wash her away her tears
Are you there to calm her fears
Are you there when she needs a friend
or is your love something you have to send
Are you there to take her to school
Are you there when she feels like a fool
Are you there to teach and to show
Are you there to see her grow
Are you there when its love she needs
Are you there to encourage good deeds
Are you there when she wants her mom
Are you there for the school prom
Are you there when she starts to cry
Are you there to see her fly
Are you there to say good job
Are you there when she starts to sob
Are you there when a female whats she needs
Are you there to cook her meals
Are you there to hear how she feels
Are you there when wash her clothes
Are you there when is anger she shows
Are you there when she needs to fight
so what gives you the right
Are you there
