Fall Away

by Angelic Devil - Not entered

I'll lean on someone
A stranger who's my friend
'Cause this world is breaking
And I find it hard to bend
Give the poor man a paso
Give the poor man a dime
I'll give everyone else a dollar
So I won't have to hear them holler
And the rest can be mine

You can call Anchor's away!
And you can bet, I'll fall away
You fools should try it someday
Just lean back, and fall away

If you let someone in your heart
The next day it'll be hollow
They say follow the leader
And we all ask to define follow
You can decorate your mansions
You can wish on a lucky star
You can ride in a limosine
Read your fashion magazines
But we all know you won't get far

If no one has nothing else to say
You can bet, I'll fall away
You fools should try it someday
Just lean back, and fall away

It seems on the corner
Is where life is at
You can read your porn
And think you're all that
But as time diminishes
And people decay
As people get pushed to the ground
And get stepped on or around
You can bet, I'll be the only one who falls away.

Reason for writing:

This, actually, is a song! I dont particularly like where the world is going and i always think to myself Wouldn't it be cool just to fall away?
