The shimmering stars of the northern sky fade away as all good things do in time the moon’s silver lining the suns golden beams my heart’s only desire for nothing that is tangible anymore ceases to be lies consume lies truths forget each other and happiness is left along the street corner melancholy is praised as a god and love is but a distant memory hope has been abandoned for desire lust for nothing consumes men’s soul empty fields where children once danced and played burned to ashen pyramids feelings are but a thing of the past for only one truly remains numbness strives heartache dies insensibility forever wisdom maybe another day dreams are as synthetic as the air we breath as haziness evolves into reality and fantasy is no more And yet I ask is this how love is suppose to feel...?Birth sign: Not entered
