So far away from my home and feeling so alone In a land of strangers in which no kindness is ever shown One of this life's simplist gifts, you can seldom see The giving of a smile has no cost, to the giver it is free Lying in a motel bed, wishing I was home I toss and turn the night away, feeling that I'm alone I feel the empty pillow, laying next to me I open my eyes in silence, a faint image I begin to see The image comes in focus as the angel begins to sing She floats across the motel room and wraps me in her wing Her soothing voice does comfort me as she takes me to my home It was then I realized throughout this trip I've never been alone The journey now is over and I am heading home Wrapped in the wings of an angel, I am never alone The angels now are waiting, a free gift for you to receive But in order to receive it, you must first believe SLM Copyright February 27, 1999 by Scott McCuneBirth sign: Libra
