BORDERS OF BLACK AND WHITE

by Kelly Wright*ARIES - Not entered

Splinter beautiful rainbow and color me whole.
Bring back that of which I lost without control.
Spread yellow's and blue's and especially red,
for all the things never spoken nor said.
Highlight it with gold and silver,
for all the things desired and never delivered.
Cast a shadow for those who live on,
and a flickering light for those who are gone.
Borders of black and white to balance it out,
to calm my fears and ease my doubts.
End with a bound that binds me together,
in turn my soul will stay free forever.

Reason for writing:

When you lose someone it brings out alot of emotions. This can be good or bad depending on
how you place your energy.I loved the man I wrote this poem for,now he's gone and I live on.
There is nothing left but the memory I have of him and my words.
