Out of the mist of a dragon's breath Into the midnight sun, Out of the depths of a roiling sea To a drop of dew on a tongue, Under the eyes of a laughing moon Adrift on a Dresden sky, Beneath the heart of a granite mound Where the primal fires burn high - Life. Blood read flickers of candle glow In a black hole of empty space, Drawing the breath of the western wind, Setting the earth in place; Into the eyes of a newborn child Cradled in waves of night, Soft on the wing of a golden hawk Drawn by a cold star's light - Love. Over the deserts of night-blue sands Under the lightning's spears, Into the silence between the heart's pulse, Out of a river of tears, Caught at the edge of the universe To drift in its twilight depths, Tumbling in ethers to land at last In the mist of the dragon's breaths - Oblivion.
