She ask me over

She ask me over
By Richard Maxfield
3-2-99

We talked on the phone
we both said we were alone
not attached in any way
ready for wondrous day
we both had been hurt in the past
by a love we thought would last
we meet and talk for awhile
such a beautiful smile
eyes so blue and teeth that shine
a sweet personality and a body so fine
long blond hair on soft shoulders
fire my emotions and make me bolder
I thought if I only had a chance
to hold her tight and make romance
A day went by and I could not reach
my gorgeous blond haired peach
Then my phone rang and her sweet voice did say
will you come over and spend the day
I am not sure what tomorrow will bring
but for today my heart will sing

Reason for writing:

First meeting of wonderful lady, looking forward to the next.
