If love were as easy as the sky

by Heat*her Cancer - Not entered

the sun sets and I'm reminded of what you said to me
how it dimmed my hope for anything
but those thin beams of nothing entice me
and I'm reminded of your revolving innocence
So empty again I rise to you, my dawn
You wait for me to catch up and we stroll slowly on this high above all
People admire us even though we aren't one
But we blend together so beautifully
Like a bolt of lightening streaking the sky
I guess you could say we're electric
But the storm clouds are gathering
The ones that don't lift themselves
from your reality
It's raining now and I'm just
waiting on my ray of sunlight

Reason for writing:

Me and this guy were really interested in each other but we couldn't get together because he had a steady girlfriend. It just seemed like the whole time we had been talking to each other was a waste after I found out about this other woman
