A saddened child by the life he has can only sit and ponder why it's so bad. As he grows taking everything in, his thoughts roam, more and more confusion sets in. Don't you care....that I'm growing up? Don't you care....that I'm still your son? Don't you care....if I need you here? Don't you care....if you're not there? Don't you think....I have dreams at night? Don't you think....I wake and scream in fright? Don't you think....I have tears for you, mom? Don't you think....I've been waiting for you to come? Don't you regret....not being by my side? Don't you regret....not being a big part of my life? Don't you regret....not seeing me learn to ride my bike? Don't you regret....not being able to look into my eyes? Won't you care....when I finally turn my back? Won't you care....then for me at last? Won't you care....when I fall and hurt my knee? Won't you care....when I look up and Dad is all I see? A saddened child with questions he has will wonder on until every day has passed. As he grows taking everything in, his thoughts roam, more and more confusion sets in. Copyright February 27, 1999 by Bobbie J. BrownBirth sign: Scorpio
