Intent

by ~Sara Felice Stacy (taurus) - Not entered

You look at me with intent, your eyes say more then words.
Patience leaves a soul in bewilderment. Wounds that will
last, scars remain hidden. Waiting, to discover that you
will not show.

Miles apart, yet your right in my sights. Love lasts
forever, but movement was the only way to go. Please
understand that patience was getting old, I had to follow a
different road.

Remaining in my thoughts, day after day. Memories however,
are beginning to fade. Your smile becomes less and less,
I have found my happiness. Arms around me as if we were
always together, I remember your kindness. I shall never
forget your closeness.

A sweet scent feels my senses. Knowing you meant loving you.
That will remain, like the sun and the moon. Follow the
path that you must, and know that I will remain by your side.
Though I may not be there, know that my spirit will.

Whether spoken or not, I see it in the way you look at me.
The pain is so intense at times that I wonder if it is you
or me that is feeling that way. Our souls are enter-twined,
I don't know how, but I feel you each and every day. How I
wish I could ease the pain.

Love me for what I am, not what you want me to be.

Reason for writing:

~just a thought, or two from the past.
