Fire

by Van - Not entered

Fire eats with ragged flame
Gorging itself as it goes along
It defies gravity by walking up, down, sideways
  even upside down
It dances on your ceiling
Putting you into a trance
As you watch this flaming temptress
Your surroundings seem to melt away
When her deadly dance is done
You too, seem to fade away.

Reason for writing:

The beauty and grace of fire.
